Relaxing in Muscat, Oman

It was a very short and very delightful flight to Muscat, Oman, and although I don't really have any photos to share with this post I could at least share the view from my window at the hotel I'm staying at.

Tomorrow is Friday, the day of prayer, and so there will be very little for me to do until later in the afternoon.  Many shops and tourist attractions etc. aren't open at all on Fridays, or if they do open on Fridays they won't open until at least 4:00 pm or maybe later.  And as always, temperatures in the 40's mean I'll have to be inside.  A quiet day is sometimes a very nice thing though...
