It's funny - whereas my luggage has tagged as "HEAVY", I nearly had to pay extra, and it got all sorts of bright orange stickers put all over it when I left Toronto, now here leaving Doha on my way to Dubai and no one so much as blinked an eye about how heavy the suitcase was!  And I have to think it's even a bit heavier as there are a few little knick-knacks from Doha now included.

I'm going to try very hard not to do much shopping until I'm leaving the Gulf area as I just can't afford to carry it around with me ... but you never know.  Me and shopping do go together well.

I'm at DIA (Doha International Airport) waiting for my flight to Dubai which should be boarding in about 20 minutes.
