Unfortunately there weren't as many stops along the way as I would have liked to take pictures of the beautiful scenery, so I've done the best I could with a few out the bus window. Not ideal I know, but hopefully they will give you a bit of an indication of the wonderful photographs I have in my memory.
Pigs anyone?
It was also really nice travelling today as the road, for the most part, followed along (or near) the coast. That meant that when we did stop (for a break or for lunch) we were often at a beach.
These are actually seahorse farms - and seahorses are an integral ingredient in snake rice wine! Also, seahorses are apparently very good for male virility...
And now in Quy Nhon - a small town right on the coast with some good potential for tourism I think, but westerners aren't too common here yet. It was interesting going for a walk along the beach - I was definitely the object of staring!
Having a little fun with my camera on my walk along the beach:
We're back on the road again tomorrow to finish the trip to Hoi An.
