My day started with a little bit of a boat trip on the Thu Bon River... and you know me, always happy in, on or near water!
We had two main destinations, the first being the local village that is responsible for making most of the wood crafts here in Hoi An,
and our second destination was the local village where most of the pottery is made.
(yes, these are made out of clay!)
This wonderful potter is 89 years old and still going strong - and she's passing the trade down to her daughter and granddaughter.
Back in Hoi An again for the afternoon and as I mentioned yesterday, I took the opportunity to see the inside of some of the heritage buildings I saw from the outside yesterday.
The history really is incredible!
This now marks the end of my time in Hoi An - continuing north tomorrow to Hue.
What a cool place!
