My last full day of the holiday and I’m going to spend as much of it as I can on Change Islands. The day dawned with sunshine and blue skies and off I headed on the Squid Jiggers Trail. The Squid Jiggers Trail, on the middle island, is a beautiful, scenic trail that takes hikers through the lush, volcanic landscape, and along the vast shoreline, to the tops of hills that reach for the sky. It was a fantastic hike!!

Being prepared for winter is an all year round affair here!
Back on the ferry, on my way back to the ‘mainland’.
