Pandemic response - Week 48

Despite continuing cold temperatures and getting lots of snow this week, my beautiful lake continued to show just how unpredictable she can be.  Frozen as far out as you can see one day - open water the next.

Fishing action on the river continuing many days this week.

Lots of snow last night!!  It took me about 4 hours to shovel the 30-40 cms we got overnight.

And as soon as I finished shovelling, this is what started!

Not much room for your legs and feet any longer

Not much of a view here.

Hope the owner doesn’t have to get anywhere quickly.

Two chairs here...

And four here.

Popped up to Goderich and this freighter was in port.

I hope this realtor has another sign somewhere because I can guarantee this one can’t be seen by the road.

Lots of parking available...just about anywhere.

One day this week was a perfect example of how we can see snow squalls building up over the lake.  Three in one day, of varying intensity, with one strong squall dumping upwards of 5 cms of snow in just half an hour.

This is a good deterrent to having friends visit!

Finding just the right spot on the river to fish.
