August 2022 (Weeks 126-130)

I wasn’t at the lake for the whole month of August, but was there for a good portion of it.  It was a lovely month weather-wise, so lots of time spent outdoors, walking the streets of the village and along the beach.

Very late - but I could still find magnolia blossoms!

Is it going to storm, or are we going to have a sunset?

Back in Toronto and I found a sidewalk art project near home.

Foggy morning today - can barely see the houses across the street and absolutely no horizon to be seen!

Look who I found on the beach today!

Fair weekend - and what would that be without a few rides for the kids?

Fireworks on opening night.

Aren’t these the cutest little twins.

One of my favourite events at the Fair is the Friesian Horse show.

And of course the 4H Club attracted lots of spectators too.

Let’s go for a train ride around the fair grounds.

Someone may have dropped their prize on the way home.

No, no, no!!!  The leaves cannot be starting to turn yet.

For the last couple of weeks of August, a new mural project was undertaken on the side of the arena.  Over the days everyone in the village watched the artist at work and the mural come to life.
